Delta Chapter Accolades

Delta Chapter at Michigan State University were the first and are the orginal multicultural sorority on MSU's campus.We were the first chapter establsihed in our region and orginated our national stroll. We are also the longest standing organization in the Multicultural Greek Council.

Brown Pride

Brown Pride was the brainchild of our Radiant Alum Dominga Martinez. In her words:

Brown Pride established a purpose on campus for Chicano/Latino students on Michigan State University's campus to succeed. The purpose provided Chicano/Latinos the opportunity to be recognized through social, service, educational, financial, and administrative organizations and offices. Chicano/Latinos receive the opportunity to network across a widespread community at Brown Pride to understand the importance of other Chicano/Latinos willing to assist and provide them with the ability to one day be graduates of Michigan State University.

CRU (Culturas de las Razas Unidas)

Zeta Sigma Chi was one of the first affiliates of CRU. We also served on the first committee for the event Latin Xplosion, and hosted the very first Latin Xplosion along with Sigma Lambda Beta.

Purpose

To unify a group of women from diverse cultures for one common goal, success in education. To achieve our goal we base our beliefs on our unique backgrounds with the purpose of building a strong sisterhood that will assist us in our success. We invite all women from diverse cultures to join our sisterhood and share their beliefs as well as to gain knowledge from our multicultural background.

What is a Radiant Lady?

A radiant lady is a woman of great power and confidence. She is a leader. She is accountable, loyal and dependable. She has a passion for making a difference in her community. She is eager to share her experiences with others and to learn about them as well. A radiant lady is open to new ideas and opportunities and ready to join a sisterhood full of a large variety of cultures and beliefs. A Radiant lady respects others and creates a life-long bond with her fellow sisters.

Through her involvement she will learn to time manage, network and communicate effectively and will gain a support system for success in all of her endeavors.
